EDI Codes

AWEX maintains an EDI code list on behalf of the wool industry in Australia to ensure that a single unique set of codes are utilised in all wool industry EDI transmissions. To make a request for a new wool industry EDI code please complete the details below and click submit.

Note: The code will be validated to fit code allocation rules, if you are unsure of the code you would like to request please leave the requested code field blank and a code will be automatically allocated.

Once the details have been received and processed by AWEX we will advise you of the code you have been allocated. We will also notify the wool industry of the new code to enable wool industry participants to add the code to their software systems.
